3rd Annual March Madness Reading Challenge

What is a "March Madness Reading Challenge?" Mrs. Casieri is challenging every student in the school to read at least 30 minutes per day for the month of March (beginning March 1, which is tomorrow).

We will be kicking off this year's challenge with a "come as your favorite book character" parade on Monday, March 3. If weather prevents us from having the parade on Monday, we will have it on the first full day of school in March. We are encouraging students (and teachers) to dress as a character from their favorite book (all costumes must be school appropriate).

This year, the March Madness Reading Challenge is going paperless!
  • Students should record the minutes they read in their planners each day.
  • Every Thursday, students should add up the minutes they read all week and get a parent/guardian to initial their total (this is also in the planner).
  • Every Friday morning, each homeroom teacher will send an electronic form to Mrs. Casieri with the total number of minutes read by their class that week.
For complete details, please visit Mrs. Casieri's teacher page.
