The LIS Physical Education staff was recognized at the NJAHPERD convention with an award for directing LIS's students in raising $15,009 for the American Heart Association. This was the top amount for NJ schools running combined events. As guests of NJAHPERD yesterday Mr. Boggs, Mr. Chichilitti, and Ms. Hart were able to have reserved front row seats for the keynote address and attend the day's Health and P.E. workshops. They are excited to bring some of the new activities and ideas they learned at the convention to LIS's students this year.
