Our art teacher, Mr. Howard Michaels, participated in the third Windows of Soul event in Trenton last weekend. Prior to the event, Mr. Michaels submitted his graphic of Jimi Hendrix. This 36"x48" panel was installed on Sunday.
From the Sage Coalition website: "Windows of soul is a unique concept aimed at bringing life to blighted urban neighborhoods. It consists of a series of community gatherings where artwork is installed on the windows of abandoned buildings in local neighborhoods." Professional artists and members of the community installed and created art work during the weekend.
